As we hit the midway point of the 2025–26 Netball Netherlands League season, the table is beginning to take shape, revealing a fierce battle at both ends of the standings. With three rounds of action behind us, every goal is starting to count toward those coveted semi-final spots.
You can find a detailed description of the Round 3 matches here.
Here is the overall state of play as of December 2025:

Setting the Pace at the Top
Utrecht and Amsterdam 1 have set a high bar, both remaining undefeated with 3 wins apiece. Utrecht currently holds the #1 spot thanks to a phenomenal defensive record, while Amsterdam 1 continues to showcase the top quality netball we’ve come to expect from them. Close behind is Maastricht in 3rd place; their strong defense and consistent scoring have kept them firmly in the hunt for the title.
The Rising Challengers
The middle of the pack is where the drama is truly unfolding. Den Haag sits in a strong 4th place, having secured two vital wins that keep them within reach of the semi-finals. Just a few points away, Rotterdam and Amersfoort (both on 3 points) are the ones to keep an eye on in the new year. Both teams have shown they have the firepower to take down any opponent and with several rounds still to go, they are only one big performance away from breaking into that top-four bracket.
A Season of Opportunity
At the bottom of the table, Brussels and Amsterdam 2 may still be searching for their first points, but the score lines don't tell the whole story. Both teams have brought whole hearted passion, fire and energy to their games, making them a delight to watch. We can't wait to see what 2026 will bring for these two contending teams!
What’s Next?
The league returns to action on January 24th 2026. With the winter break giving teams time to regroup and refine their strategies, we expect the second half of the season to be the most competitive yet.
