Round 3 Match Update

Round 3 consisted of all 8 teams taking court on Saturday, 6 and Sunday 7 December 2025.

 

Match 1 saw Amersfoort Netball Club hosting Amsterdam Netball club’s 1 st team.
What an extremely tight and competitive match. Amersfoort had a very strong 3 rd quarter trailing by only 1 goal, 36-37. Amsterdam 1 put in a massive 4 th quarter to secure the win in the end with 47-54.

 

The match officials were: Liezl de Bruin and Patrick Neasy.
MVP’s went to: Sanri Rossouw and Lucy Oates.
Fairplay award went to: Joanne Hill and Luciano Garcia Bea

Match 2 took place in Rotterdam where Rotterdam Netball Club hosted the only trans-border club in our league, Brussels Netball Club for a match. The match went down as competitive, yet friendly. Both teams showed good sportsmanship and gave it their all. Hats off to Brussels Netball Club for fighting until the last whistle. Rotterdam Netball Club came away with the win 46-21.

Fairplay award went to: Holly Adam and Rachel Sheard.


Match 3 requested Den Haag Netball Club to travel to the most Southern part of The Netherlands to face Maastricht Netball Club. The match took place in the beautiful Valkenburg, home of Maastricht Netball Club, where a fierce battle took place between the number 2 and 3 teams on the log. In a very competitive match, the scoreline switched in favor of both teams throughout the match. Well done to both teams for giving it your all until the final whistle. Den Haag Netball Club pulled
through, with a very strong 4 th quarter, to secure the win, 37-39.

Fairplay award went to: Miguel Valente and Phillip de Bruyn
 

Match 4, the final match of the round saw Utrecht Netball Club hosting Amsterdam Netball Club’s 2 nd team. The scoreline does not reflect the intensity of the match. Both teams gave it their all, but with Utrecht Netball Club chasing the highest possible scoreline, in order to secure the highest goal difference on the log, they made it very difficult for Amsterdam 2. Well done to Amsterdam 2 for not giving up and to stay fighting until the end. Utrecht Netball Club came away with the win with a
final score of 68-23. With a massive effort like this, they succeeded in securing the top spot on the log.

The match officials were: Bianca Botha and Kayla Vlaardingenbroek.
MVP’s went to: Julia Scott and Jordan Kirby.
Fairplay award went to: Niel Els and Jessica Fechner.
These two clubs also played a friendly match afterwards…how cool is this!? In the friendly match Amsterdam 3 go a bit of a revenge and walked away with the win.
